About This Place

Nestled in the vibrant Scottsdale Quarter, etta Scottsdale Quarter offers an alluring Italian dining experience that effortlessly blends traditional flavors with modern flair. This lively restaurant and cocktail bar beckons guests with its inviting atmosphere—expect a buzz of energy, attentive service, and a space that feels both welcoming and celebratory, perfect for everything from casual gatherings to special occasions.

The menu shines with Italian classics reimagined through the lens of exceptional craftsmanship. Start your meal with the fire-grilled focaccia ricotta, where pillowy soft focaccia marries the richness of fresh ricotta, accented delicately with honey and a whisper of black truffle—each bite a harmonious balance of earthy and sweet. The meatballs served in Sunday sauce come nestled atop fire-wilted kale, a comforting dish that pays homage to hearty traditions with a contemporary twist.

Seafood lovers will savor the bubbling shrimp, infused with ginger, chiltepin chile, and smoked tomate, inviting a subtle heat offset by refreshing mint. Or try the wood-fired octopus, tender and smoky, complemented by marinated cucumbers for a refreshing contrast. For a starter that teases the palate, the rack-roasted oysters with smoked tomato butter and lovage provide a luscious, umami-packed opening.

When it comes to pasta, etta truly excels. Dishes like the Casarecce Bolognese topped with a parmesan fondue deliver unforgettably rich and savory layers. Equally enticing is the Bucatini Cacio e Pepe, a simple yet sophisticated bowl that showcases the perfect al dente bite coated in creamy cheese and just the right hint of black pepper sharpness. The All'amatriciana featuring lumache with guanciale and pomodoro brings a vibrant, spicy depth that dances on the tongue, while the Creste Di Gallo with fennel sausage offers a savory blend balanced by marinated kale and chili flakes.

For main plates, the Hearth-Fired Steak Frites stands out as a must-try—wagyu sirloin grilled to perfection, tender and juicy, paired with crispy fries and a bed of peppery arugula. Guests rave about the Bone-in Ribeye, a cut so superb it rivals even Scottsdale’s top steakhouses. The Crispy Chicken Sandwich, layered with bread & butter pickles, chili honey, bibb lettuce, and garlic aioli on a brioche bun, delivers a delightful crunch followed by a burst of sweet and savory flavors. The FireSeared Branzino provides a lighter option, perfectly cooked with capers, fennel, and charred lemon that brightens every bite.

Complement your meal with etta’s expertly crafted cocktails and an extensive wine selection that elevate the dining experience, whether you’re perched at the buzzing bar or settled into the stylish dining room. Don’t miss finishing your evening on a sweet note with their Tiramisu Ice Cream or warm, fried bunuelos—each dessert a sublime balance of comfort and indulgence.

What truly sets etta apart is its vibrant vibe coupled with impeccable, personable service. Guests repeatedly highlight the bartenders’ friendly professionalism and the staff’s genuine dedication to making each visit feel special. Whether you’re lined up for a table during peak hours or seated at the bar enjoying attentive service from knowledgeable servers, every moment is crafted to feel intimate and enjoyable.

There was a wait for a table, but my wife and I found a spot at the bar. The bartenders were fantastic. Kind, helpful, personable. We ordered the Meatballs, Hamachi Crudo, Caesar Salad, and shared a bone-in ribeye sliced for sharing, which was one of the best steaks I’ve had. It rivals any other steakhouse in town, (yes even the 44’s, ‘ick’s, ‘ings, ‘astros and… anywhere that rhymes with Cuth Rhris.) The steak was cooked to perfection, presentation was fun, and the French fries and dipping sauce was a great addition to the steak. Elevated #SteakFrites. We will definitely be back.

I went to Etta in Scottsdale with my best friend and it was such a vibe! It’s a poppy, lively spot so definitely expect it to be packed, but totally worth it. We sat at the bar and Brian was our server he was super attentive, made sure our drinks came out quickly, and kept everything flowing smoothly. The food? Incredible. I highly recommend starting with the ricotta pillows — they’re light, , and paired perfectly with the wagyu meatballs. We also shared the flat iron steak, which had a sweet, thick glaze topped with truffle butter… melt-in-your-mouth delicious. For drinks, the espresso martini with Angel’s Envy bourbon is a must-try. Smooth, balanced, and honestly one of the best espresso martinis I’ve had. Overall, Etta is the perfect spot for great food, strong drinks, and a fun night out in Scottsdale. Definitely will be back!

Stopped by Etta for dinner and loved it. We really wanted to sit in the dining room, but we arrived an hour early for our reservation and they sat us in a booth in the bar. It was nice though, the music was good. Had the gem salad, spicy rigatoni, hamachi crudo, and shrimp cocktail. All lovely. I checked the bar menu and had to order the chicken nuggies. They are elevated chick fil a nuggets. Crispy goodness. Dessert was the lemon tart. I don’t live in AZ, but will have try to come back for the dining area vibes.

The atmosphere and service were definitely top notch! We were there for a birthday dinner celebration and were happily seated to view the entire restaurant. We started with the focaccia bread which was light and flavorful. For dinner, we got the ricotta pillows and the New York strip... The NY it's self was...decent, nothing overly spectacular and I thought it lacked in flavor it had the finishing salt but could have used more in the cooking process. Now the ricotta pillows...absolutely to die for!! Light and creamy perfect chef kiss 12/10 We were gifted a lovely birthday dessert I believe it was a strawberry cheesecake? It was delicious whatever it was!! All in all was good for a "yeah I ate there once!" experience but I more than likely will try other dining establishments in the area...

From the moment we arrived at Etta, we were welcomed by a level of service that was nothing short of exceptional. Our waiter, Kevin, was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to enhancing our dining experience. His impeccable recommendations and thoughtful approach made the evening even more memorable. The entire staff was polished, professional, and radiated warmth, creating a truly refined and inviting atmosphere. The meal itself was a symphony of flavors. The oysters were exceptionally fresh, a standout of the evening, and the Flaming Burrata was an indulgent yet balanced delight. The Spicy Rigatoni offered a rich, comforting sauce, and the Hamachi Crudo (my favorite), with its delicate freshness and citrusy tang, was a welcome light contrast to the more indulgent offerings. The Wagyu steak was absolutely incredible. It was so tender it practically melted in our mouths. Every aspect of the dining experience was thoughtfully curated, leaving us eager to return. We highly recommend Etta for anyone seeking an unparalleled culinary experience.

Oh my gosh… im so impressed. The atmosphere is beautiful, the customer service is great, and the food is amazing! I have a gluten free allergy and the staff was so well educated on the menu and the items i could and could not eat I was so appreciative and felt seen. They even recommended dishes and the gluten free tiramisu cheesecake which was amazing. Keep up the amazing work!!
